Kate's CV

• 1985: Started hairdressing as a 'Saturday girl'.
• 1987: Fulltime at Shape In Hair in Abingdon, starting a three year training to learn all aspects of hairdressing: colouring, perming, cutting and styling, blow drying, as well as customer care.
• 1998: Split my training and moved to Oxford to work at Copa Hair to learn more and finish my training
• 1990: After completing my training I was invited by my old colleagues at Shape In Hair to join the team as a senior stylist.
• 1992: Decided to launch my own mobile hairdressing business.
• 2001: Took part-time position as a senior stylist at a leading London salon, Tommyguns in Soho. As an independent hairdresser, there is a risk of losing touch with the latest developments and trends, not to mention the feedback from peers.
• 2002: Joined the team of The Lounge, another trendy Soho salon.
• 2003: Returned to running my Oxfordshire business fulltime. Whilst also attending many training courses to keep my skills up to date
